This is a gorgeous, nurturing treatment.  Special basalt stones are heated in water to a safe but effective temperature and the therapist, holding the stones, actively massages them into the body.  The heat from the stones induces a level of muscle release not usually experienced in a regular massage.  Larger stones are placed on key energy centres while smaller ones are used to gently ease away tension from tired and aching muscles.
